Celebrate the Spirit of Oktoberfest!

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5th, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as OKM Music proudly presents its Twelfth Annual Oktoberfest! This lively event will take over Dewey Avenue between 4th and 5th Streets, offering a fun-filled day for families, friends, and Bavarian-lovers of all ages.

Oktoberfest promises an exciting lineup, featuring live music, dancing, handcrafted beer, mouth-watering food, raffles, puppet shows, and engaging games. Attendees can look forward to beloved festival activities, including Zufall (gift walk), axe throwing, cornhole, and the Beer Stein Relay Race and Beer Competition for adults. For teens, there will be plenty of fun with Root Beer Pong, a Football Game, a Putt-Putt Game and Axe Throwing. Children can join in the festivities by filling their Schultüte bags with free art supplies and fun surprises, making pretzel necklaces, painting pumpkins, decorating gingerbread cookies, enjoying Storytime, watching two puppet shows, and bouncing on the inflatable house complete with a slide. Families will also appreciate the Root Beer Garden Tent, where they can enjoy delicious root beer floats and try their luck at finding the hidden gnomes.

Oktober-Guests can savor traditional German food such as sausages, sauerkraut, German potato salad, pretzels, and strudel, along with hand-tossed pizza, savory and sweet French toast dishes, barbecue, bundt cakes, and more. No Oktoberfest would be complete without great beer, and this year, local breweries like Scissortail Brewing Company and Cooper & Mill Brewing Company will showcase their finest brews. Be sure to visit Palace Rooms for an additional food and wine option.

The GAST folk dancers will return to showcase traditional Bavarian dancing and encourage guests to join in the beloved “Chicken Dance.” Live polka music will feature performances by the GAST Blaskapelle, GAST Mach Schnell, and the King Cabbage Brass Band.

Support the arts and take a chance to win exciting prizes in this year's raffle! One lucky winner will receive a three-night stay in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, while another will take home a Yeti filled with delicious German food and drink items. Raffle tickets are available for just $10 a ticket, $ 45 for 5 tickets, or $ 90 for 10 tickets, with the winner announced at 7:00 p.m. on October 5. All proceeds from Oktoberfest go towards supporting OKM’s Music Festival and Children’s Programming.
