Woolaroc Art Exhibition Returns to Celebrate 100th Anniversary with Reunion Showcase of Acclaimed Artists

Bartlesville, OK – Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve is celebrating its 100th year with a special edition of its biennial art exhibition, The Woolaroc Exhibition and Sale, opening to the public on October 18, 2025, and running through December 31, 2025. This year’s exhibition will take a unique turn from its traditional retrospective approach, bringing together a distinguished group of past exhibitors who have helped shape the legacy of Woolaroc’s art exhibitions over the years.

“This year’s Woolaroc Exhibition is more than an art show; it’s a celebration of the artists, history, and enduring spirit of Woolaroc,” said Kevin Hoch, CEO of Woolaroc. “Reaching 100 years is a remarkable milestone, and we are honored to feature artists whose work reflects both the beauty of our landscape and the timeless essence of the American West.”

Since its inception in 2013, The Woolaroc Exhibition and Sale has featured some of the most nationally recognized artists in Western and contemporary art. “The response from past exhibitions and sales has been tremendous,” said committee chair Dean Zervas. “We have been fortunate to feature some of the most respected artists in the field today. This year’s exhibition isn’t just about the art—it’s about celebrating what makes Woolaroc truly unique and supporting a cultural institution with a century-long legacy.”

The 2025 reunion exhibition will unite more than 40 acclaimed artists, commemorating Woolaroc’s artistic heritage and enduring commitment to the arts. Art enthusiasts and collectors will have the exclusive opportunity to view and purchase extraordinary works during the opening sale event on Saturday, October 18, 2025, while supporting Woolaroc’s mission to preserve the history of the West, educate, and entertain. The exhibition will feature diverse artistic mediums, capturing the spirit of the American West.

A Century of Woolaroc: Honoring 100 Years of History, Culture, and Art

As part of the centennial celebrations, Woolaroc will host a series of special events, exhibitions, and educational experiences throughout the year. Founded in 1925 by oilman Frank Phillips, Woolaroc has become a treasured landmark, celebrating the natural beauty, cultural history, and spirit of the American West. This milestone marks a century of dedication to preserving and sharing the stories of the land and the people who shaped it.

“We are proud of the legacy we’ve built over the last century,” said Hoch. “It’s a privilege to be part of this community and to carry forward the vision of Frank Phillips. As we celebrate 100 years, we look forward to continuing to provide enriching experiences for visitors of all ages.”
